Enhancing the Built Environment

Join the National Ready Mixed Concrete Association and the School of Sustainable Engineering and the Built Environment at Arizona State University for the 2010 Concrete Sustainability Conference, April 13-15, in Tempe, AZ. The fifth annual Concrete Sustainability Conference* will provide learning and networking opportunities on the latest advances, technical knowledge, continuing research, tools and solutions for sustainable concrete manufacturing and construction.

 

Researchers, academics, students, engineers, architects, contractors, concrete producers, public works officials, material suppliers and concrete industry professionals are invited to attend, submit papers and give presentations. Topics include:

NRMCA, based in Silver Spring, MD, represents the producers of ready mixed concrete and the companies that provide materials, equipment and support to the industry. It conducts education, training, promotion, research, engineering, safety, environmental, technological, lobbying and regulatory programs.

ASU, located in Tempe is a comprehensive public metropolitan research university enrolling more than 65,000 students from all 50 states and more than 100 nations. ASU is a federation of unique colleges, schools, departments and research institutes, including the Global Institute of Sustainability, Ira A. Fulton School of Engineering, School of Sustainable Engineering and the Built Environment, which accommodates the Department of Civil, Environmental and Sustainable Engineering, Del E. Webb School of Construction, and the Concrete Industry Management Program.
